I think you should be able to get similar from Halfords near the air filters, if i'm thinking of the right part

This?

Do yourself a favour though when you go in Halfords. Go to the brake section, not the chavvy ripspeed but and you will get the same thing, in a blue no frills Halfords bag for a 1/4 of the price. :)

Are you replacing the stickers too? once you've polished it and cleaned those wheels up it'll be looking good again.

Hello and welcome to the forum Nathan, nice to see more people in the Northwest with 205s. Ive always liked the rallyes but there that rare and always go for big money ive found.

That look like a good solid shell youve got there with lots of potential, i just love the simplicity of the Tu engine bays compared to the GTI engine bay so much nicer to work on.

You will have to get along to some of the Psooc meets we have around the Northwest and the various events during the year, look forward to looking over the car at some point in the future and look forward to see your progress.

Jonathan

Been a while since i last posted. but my 205 has gone for a full respray and my new decals to be put on so it will be like new :) also haven't got some steelies. missed a few sets on ebay so for the time being ive got some white 1.6 speedlines to put on.

its also running a bit rich at the minute, so the carb needs to be set up. and if anyones got any tips on setting up a carb id be more than welcome to hear your advice :D :D

Hey guys! not been on for a while.

had the rallye in for a full buff and polish, but wasnt getting anywhere with the paintwork. So i took it in for a full respray and now it looks mint! really please with the outcome of it with a full set a new decals. the doors needed plenty of filler too as there was loads of dents and ripples.

Then here is the out come with all new decals.

I am very much into older cars and i do love pepperpot wheels. i missed out on a few sets of 106 Rallye Steelies so for the time being i have had these 1.6 gti wheels painted white. i think it looks quite well. just needs lowering a tad now :) overall im chuffed to bits! hope you all like too

thanks

nath.
