Good. Glad we cleared that up, now did somebody say summit about a windscreen?

they do a really good job of clearing the window but i found on some days it would mist up after a few minutes were as a heater would constantly keep the mist away and keep you warm..

not sure its a good idea to constantly keep the heater screen on

Ahem.. a certain for sale advert for a £40 UJ ring any bells!?

Yes;

http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=133907&st=0&p=1203921&hl=lower&fromsearch=1entry1203921

Sorry, how is this relevant to me though?

Seriously, you either need to stop trying to pick arguments with me, or get better at it. Read my post and read the posts before it. Again. But this time remove the monkey from your arse before posting the reply.

You win, you're betterer, your dad's d*ck is bigger, you cleverererer. OK? Continue this however you like. I'm not here to pick arguments with you. You found argument in me stating a FACT, yet again. Using the same delusional thought processes you'd argue that the sea is not blue and water is not wet.

Pull your head out of your mum's arse because your face is covered in sh!t.

Fu*k my life.

This forum is like a school yard these days! (not having a go at anybody) but could we keep conflicts of interests to either PM's or out the back of the bike sheds at break time?

Im sure this place is meant to be for resource to answering queries regarding motor vehicles and more recently personal injury surgery... (Yes I know it has been covered before, but the search doesn't work! - C WUT I DID THURR? omfglolz.)

brb, going to the moon...

Boring garbage..

Firstly, so's your face.

I see what's been going on here.. you think my post was aimed at you, just like the harnesses thing. NO it was aimed at the posts on page 2 where someone actually beat you to mentioning the £106 price - bet you didn't even notice that, did you!

You really need to have a pause before you angrily smash the keyboard into a reply, and take a moment to think about what's actually been said - is it really a personal attack against you, or is it somebody just stating a fact / opinion on a subject? You'll probably find the amount of arguments you're caught up in (and it's not just me!) dramatically reduces.

This has been a re-ocurring thing between you and someone, alot of it me for some reason yes, for 6 years or so now, let's not forget that and i'm certainly not the only one who's been there and remembers all of your antagonistic, aggrevating, picky childishness.

I don't care to say anything else, i'm frankly sick to death of constantly giving you the benefit of the doubt over things when even other forum member friends plead with me not to lower myself to your level and rise above it. I fail because i always want to see the good in people and hence try and understand or explain, but it just falls upon deaf, ignorant and frankly un-provoked insulting ears, it has to stop, and therefore i am taking the moral highground, whether you choose to accept that or not.

It's a shame that i see this as the only resolve, but i have added you to my ignored list, you'll probably see that as admission of fault, guilt or whatever else your tiny mind may choose to call it. That is your right, who am i to change you, either way it has to stop.

I read this as "having received a warning by Anthony to stop our childish bickering, the only way I can see to get the last word is to block you."

Fair enough, I'll be extremely thankful for the ability to post without being dragged into another pathetic and unnecessary argument.

...and Baz, spell 'a lot' and 'separate' correctly please or you will move from my 'He Spells Ok' list into my 'Thick Twat' list .

That is all :D

I would also be interested in one of these screens if you need numbers :)

You know, you're right.. looks like nobody was expressing interest in that price!

Don’t be under any illusions I think they are going to be £106. I think the rest of my posts around that time show that

However at the right price I will be interested :)

Meanwhile...

Does anyone have any contact details for people at uroglas? They seem pretty dire at getting back to me.

An update!

A little pricey though...

Thanks for your enquiry. We are able to source this glass and have two quantity options from separate factories.

1. Minimum order 15 pieces @ £176.00 each

2. Minimum order 25 pieces @ £124.00 each

Lead time on either option would be around 12 working weeks. Delivery of all parts to 1 UK location would be FOC, individually boxed and delivered parts would be £50.00.

All prices are ex VAT.

That sounds about right!

Provided you could get that many people together and paid up front, qty 25 is a very good saving! Your best option is probably to get them all delivered to your house then have people come and collect them from you, that saves a fair bit on postage but also avoids the stressful experience of having to somehow get 25 fragile screens home! Then obviously the responsibility of damage is on the screen's owner, rather than on you.

I'd buy one at £125 plus vat but I'm very concerned about the longevity of the elements. If bits of it packed in within a few months I really wouldn't be impressed.

I'd imagine there would be a warranty but as to how long I don't know, obviously it can't compensate the inconvenience.

If they're as previous buys i'm pretty sure they'll be made to OE spec, worth confirming maybe Tom? :)

They are! They can be bronzed or clear but they need to be all one or the other for a group buy.

Does that also mean they all have to be 205 ones? No chance of a 306 or 106 one inc?

What are theses windscreens like as far as insurnace goes?

Do you have to declare them, just thinking about if one gets cracked by a stone or something, will the insurance replace it with like for like or just shove in a standard one.

Are they covered with the insurance windscreen cover/chip repair?

Ben

That would be a question for your insurance company! I'd certainly want to let them know that I'd fitted one and try to get it covered as a like-for-like in the event of chips or cracks.

Any news on a group buy for these yet? I missed the last one and I'd be up for one of these.
