What Is The Saddest Piece Of Peugeot Memorabilia You Have?

Recommended Posts

chipstick

Excuse the thread revival.

After much searching I've got my hands on a Peugeot dealership sign.

Thankfully this is the more period 80s one so I'm very pleased with it.

Being a couple of decades old the electrics need looking at, but hopefully it shall soon be hanging from my garage wall.

Also got a dozen poster tubes full of unused Peugeot posters from the same person. Most of them are from around 1989/1990. There's a couple of 205 and 309 ones, various old Talbot vans, some 405, 605 and various Lion Care and servicing advertisements. I shall frame a few :D

I've two cycling jerseys - a red/white/blue 'Cycles Peugeot' and a white/black 'Michelin/Dan Air'.

I've also got a pair of white/blue Peugeot water bottles.

All from the 80's :D

Got this sign from Pugfest last year , a guy with an autojumble stall had it for sale and I kept walking past thinking 'that would look nice on the wall'

Great thread...

My first ever ebay purchase was a Peugeot retractable pencil, closely followed by some Peugeot Pogs and a colouring book for my then-young son.

Models obviously, I have over 50 205 toys/models including a big friction-powered 205 from France.

And at the end of a working day, my 205 keys sit on a small Peugeot tray.

Got a few things bought for me as presents last year, which are new, Peugeot GTI polo shirt and baseball cap, and a novelty mouse matt and t-shirt.

But, I have something I have never seen before.

A pair of GTI Club 205 mudflaps made by Peugeot for the owners club sometime in the 80's. They are still unopened in the bag, and are very smart. I got them free with a set of wheels from an old guy who didnt know how rare they were.

Don't know if I should use them or not.

Be interested to know more about them, if anyone has seen them before etc.

Yuck Fou Fenton!

My local dealer has just told me that the dealer sign which was coming my way has been taken by an area dealer principle :'(

The invoice for my car. The floor mats were £18.27, sunroof £168.57, and to etch the windows with the plate number was £20!
