Artemide 1 Posted November 30, 2011 Hi, I have 3 1.9 Gti´s with ABS, and it isn´t working on none of them. And as far as I know, no ones ABS isn´t working and never has( at least here in Estonia where there are only about 10 GTIs max). Soo, has anyone sorted out what could be the reason. One minute after switching on the ignition, the abs bump makes a sound for about 1 second and thats it. The abs warning light stays on forever. Also have tried switching the pump. Para 82 2 Cars Posted November 30, 2011 Lots of things might be faulty, you should check the wiring going to the ABS sensors in front hubs, also there is a way of reseting the ABS system. I'm not sure how to do this ? Unplug for couple of minutes plug from ABS ecu in the boot. You should do diagnostics. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
