Rubber Boot/cover Behind Headlights With Hids

Recommended Posts

feb

How have you guys with HIDs fitted the rubber boot/cover behind the headlights?

Does it fit or have you cut it/modified it?

I am thinking of getting a set but I want to make sure the rubber cover will fit before ordering them.

Thanks.

Doesn't the rubber cover have a kind of drain lip at the bottom for the wires to come out through?? I've done mine but can't remember what I did lol

When you get yours, make sure u get the 1's that give you HID on full beam as well as driving lights!!! I got ones second hand off feebay and the full beam light is a second bulb, which gives very yellow light after my 8000k lights gave been on... End result is that I don't ever turn full beam on...

Mate with a Clio Williams has his full beams on HID also and when they come on they light up theist part of Kent

Could you take a picture from the car what the beam pattern looks like?

I have been reading that they scatter the light and the beam pattern is crap so I may be better off with some higher intensity bulbs/Osram night breakers.

I am aware that they scatter the light as I have seen in my dad's Panda and Focus but they are not too bad in these cars.

I am wondering if it is much worse in the 205 before throwing money away.
