By the time the machinists added on a bit of profit they're gonna be around £150 for a decent sized batch. I rekon you'd be looking at 3 settings to make them which is obviously time consuming,plus the accuracy and finish required will add time on plus the extra cost of consumables(tool tips). EN24T ain't the easier material to work with either.

I'll see if I can get a price at work but I doubt it'll be competitive with the dealer items, especially once you take your discount off that most folk seem to get now.

the bore only steps once, outer bore of 36mm for a depth of 24mm, then the rest plain bore at whatever you choose, the shaft I have to hand is 28mm I.D but Miles did say a 30mm arb fits the replacement and original 205/309 shafts

It's not that simple.

Some original 205/309 shafts were suitable for 30mm ARB's but most weren't, and from what I've seen, generally ZX/306/Xsara original shafts are not 30mm capable. All the replacement OE shafts I've ever bought have again not been 30mm ARB capable either.

fair enough, but any aftermarket one could be made so it will definitely fit a 30mm bar couldn't it ;)

save a bit of weight too! :D

The one's I currently have and can get (OE Pug) all can accept the 30mm ARB, Mind one I saw which had been rebuilt I couldn;t even fit a 24mm bar in it the hole was that small

We're looking at pricing these in the next few weeks. They need to be sub'd out for grinding and possibly heat treating depending on the material used so a bit of ringing round to do.

I think someone was in talks with jimistdt about his contacts for the beam shafts he got but haven't heard anything for a while.

I have the technical drawings for the shafts somewhere, if it would help anyone?

I have no intention of supplying shafts/bearings anymore, before anyone asks.

Here we are;

As far as I am aware these are the drawings to the original spec. No responsibility accepted for the outcome of any attempts to replicate or otherwise use the information on this drawing.
