Christ Paul - I know you've been travelling a fair bit for work recently, but 80k in just over a year?! That can't be right, surely? :o

(quick calculation suggests that assuming 60mpg and £1.369 a litre, that's about £8300 worth of fuel!)

Thats av of 9.13mph for 24hrs a day for 365 days....

I've done around 2500 miles in GTi in 6 months.

mad.

Current one, zero.

Yeah, I should really pull my finger out.

Actually this is not strictly true, I 'drove' it out of the garage and turned it round when I first got it. It left a trail of nasty exhaust sludge on the block paving, then cut out and wouldn't restart blocking the neighbours drive. It's still parked front end in!

In my First 1.6 GTi which was also my first car I did 35,000 in 18 months.

In My 106 GTi I have done about 35,000 over the past 10 years.

Not sure how many I've done in my current 3 205's. Not a great deal as the V6 Coup gets most of the A - B action now we're a 3 person family :D

What with mine being a stage rally car and being on and off the road with work and things being done to it, i think i haven't even done 2000 miles in three years ! :)

Around 3000 miles in F375 in 14 months.

Maybe 10,000 miles in the rally car though for much of the time the speedo cable has not been operational.

(306 for what it's worth has done ~47k miles in less than two and a half years - 204k on the clock and still going strong!)

I'm glad to see it's getting an honourable retirement! It did around 28k the last year I owned it and never less than 22k per year the rest of the 6 years...

The 205 stdt that went before it had been mine for 5 years and 130k too. Total bills on that were servicing, one driveshaft, a blower motor and an ignition switch. Talk about reliable. :-)

Before i sold it to Josh(LemmingZappa), despite owning it for around 4.5yrs, i only ever did about 1k in 'ABC'. :(

Nearly 2 years and i've probably not even done 1k in 'RBW' either, the Longman engined red one.
