How many miles have you done in your GTi and over what time period?

 

I'll start the bidding: just over 20,000 miles in 9 and a half years.

With the 205 1.0 Trio Plus I did around 20-25k miles in less than 2 years.

With the sorrento Gti I did roughly 45k miles in almost 5 years (I bought and sold the car twice!)

With the current Gti I have done 2,300 miles in 3 weeks.

These cars are meant be driven and enjoyed

50,000 miles in 8 years in my CTi, but that includes around 2 years in total off the road being worked on.

@feb very impressive! Post back when you've hit 100k done in GTis won't you Come to think of it (thanks lagonda) mine is 20k over 6 years as 3.5 were SORN (off the road).

S-Max is great, ours got 48k in less than 2 years

Hmmmm, in the current car (my first GTi) about 50k in ~13 years but very few miles recently. Also owned a 309 GTi and another 205 GTi for a while and would guess at 10-20k between them. Prior to that 80k in a 205GLD and about 20-30 in a 306 D-Turbo. The 300 miles per week commute soon adds up...

Last 205 I did about 55-60k over the 6 years that I had it, but the bulk of that was done in about 2-3 years when it was my daily-driver doing over 20k per annum. It's the one Feb now owns, and he's evidentally continuing where I left off in racking up the miles

 

The current 205 has driven to the MOT station and back, and, errrr... that's it in 8 months or so

 

(306 for what it's worth has done ~47k miles in less than two and a half years - 204k on the clock and still going strong!)

I've done ~20k from Dec 2007 to Dec 2009 in my GT. I'ts just had a pretty comprehensive rebuild so wheni ts back on the road it'll be back to 10k a year.

I bought my 2nd GTI around 2 years ago with 130k on the clock and have hit 160k this week! It has had a 2L VTS motor in it for nearly a year now, had a full respray 3 - 4 months ago and I'm a bit anal about maintenance!

 

I drive her everyday and now have a longer commute to work after buying my first house in the next town away. She hasn't missed a beat yet!!

The GRD has done 80k in just over a year!

Christ Paul - I know you've been travelling a fair bit for work recently, but 80k in just over a year?! That can't be right, surely?

 

(quick calculation suggests that assuming 60mpg and £1.369 a litre, that's about £8300 worth of fuel!)

It's pretty much bang on 80k had it taxed for a year which ran out beginning of month and now done 82k

Go on then Sinbad, why zero? I'm thinking either you don't actually have a GTi or another bit falls off every time you try to move it?
