Watched this yesterday and considered posting it - it was an interesting show, especially seeing some of the yokels making it! made me laugh how they sent the trolley wheels back for being a darker shade of grey, perfection!

Anybody's blood boil at the "A V8 is essentially 2 four-stroke engines bolted together" line on the commentary ?

 

I chuckled at the four-people-to-bolt-on-a-brake-disc. No wonder they're so f***ing expensive! But it was interesting.

Enjoyed this even as a non-engineering type.

 

Button and Hamilton's smooth car control was euqally as enjoyable.

 

Uncle Ron's OCD made me chuckle (the tiles) too but most of that facility seems to have come from his brain - clever chap.

I loved Rons attention to detail. those tiles would piss me off too Although you can tell he's one scary mofo. One of those types where when he steps into a room, everyone s*its themselves!

 

Also as expensive as £168k is, i didn't think it is too bad for a supercar!!

 

Certainly in the realms of city boy bankers annual bonus territory as opposed to arab oil sheiks

I found the bit funny when they reffered to something 'weighing as much as 8 elephants'
