Is all the aircon still fitted/intact? Do you have a price in mind for selling the car as is? PM me if you like :)

I was going to ask for the very same thing for my gti auto. The damage doesn't look too severe though, so could be repaired for not much cash.

The engine is low compression, and it's cam is used as a mod for the 2.0 8v turbo. It responds well to low boost.

I'd also be interested in a few parts as well, for my gti auto,if you did decide to break it....though it would be a shame to do this....as there are only a handfull of 205 gti autos left (if you believe the howmanyleft website!!!!)

I don't believe it as it says there are only 3 with tax this year. I have one currently on the road and i've seen a few others on ebay this year too.

edited to add: it says there are 3 with tax and one sorned. I therefore own 1/2 of all the gti auto's left in the country, which just isn't true.

The cam isn't used from these, it's normally the 306 XSi one or the 123bhp 205 CAT engine I believe or correct me if I'm wrong.

Bit less than a std 1.6, the Auto's have a very limited market, Nice to drive around town but a pain to drive quick unless you do the gears manually

how much would a k plate 1.6 on 88k be worth then? it would be taxed and tested, and it is mint apart from the bits that need doin

Yeah, that's how I'd describe mine too

It's mint apart from the dents that need knocking out, the rust that needs sorting, the paint that needs polishing, the engine leak that needs fixing, and the 1000 other things that need doing.

As it is around £350 > £500.00 to the right buyer, as it needs some ££ spending on it and even when up together in the current market no more than a Grand

I'd be interested in the whole AC package if you decide to break and I am local too. I could even arrange someone to take it off!
