Fluctuating Oil Gauge

i noticed on 205's the oil pressure fluctuates when you rev the car and then drops down on idle when warm, what does it mean when you start the car from cold and goes to 3/4 on the gauge and once

 

warm does not fluctuate, it only drops to half on the gauge and stays there

Oil pressure will always vary with oil temp, fail to see what the problem is here?

I think he's saying that his does not rise and fall with the revs, which it should do, regardless of temperature.

I had the same on my old 309 SRi, I suspected it was a dirty sensor that was gunked up inside through use of poor oils & bad servicing imo.

 

It got better & started to show more movement after a couple of services & oil flush at each one.
