Thinking About Making Some More Parts For The Old Girls

Recommended Posts

Interior trim clips, I need every 205 I have owned has never had the interior held together properly and secure, it would make them a bit more comfortable, quieter and enjoyable to drive, you may be able to get these from Peugeot but my local dealership just doesn't want to know and it's become a Kia dealer also.

Trailing arm shafts on ebay are still expensive for a steel tube, in weight it's probably worth less than a fiver, I may take one into my local engineers workshop to see if they can make a few for me, I have worked for them as a subby for years on huge plants, manufacturing production lines, a few shafts should be no problem.

Cup holder to that doesn't have to be screwed into dash is a must please

and as a long shot a 309 gti ac condensor?

For interior trim clips just search on ebay. Doesn't have to be peugeot specific. I had to get some for my Alfa a while back and there's loads of different clips available on ebay for cheap.

For interior clips I just got a couple of handfulls of clips out of a 106/saxo at the local scrappy. Got them for peanuts and they seemed to be a little less brittle than the 205 ones, either through age or design.

You can still buy all the headlight adjusters from Peugeot, Even the larger adjuster one is a shade over £20.00 so ignore the Ebay ones

Filter caps for the gearbox breather holes, so nothing will go in the gearbox.

They're quite thick walled when you look at the dimensions for the bearing seats, and they're no good just being mild steel either, as they form the inner bearing surface for the needles, so they need to be hardened and ground. Not as cheap as you might think.
