Good bit of coverage there by the Beeb - why on earth wasn't that broadcast over the air I wonder - licence issues perhaps?

Nice to see the rally back in the classic forests again - wonder if it's only for this year as they did say it was due to tree disease in South Wales.

Don't get the parental guidance bit - it's just a rally FFS, what's up with that?!!

I took my 8 year old to Dyfnant this year. I took my dad as well. There was Mad Mick Jones daughter stood behind us with a baby and my dad reminded me that I was taken as a 2 year old to watch Bjorn Waldegaard in the Stratos on the 1975 RAC

I also was at Trentham Gardens in 1984 (IIRC) to see my first T16 with Ari at the wheel

It is only dangerous if you are a crap parent and let the kids run wild!

Parental guidance for rallying?? but theyre happy to show god knows what on eastenders on a sunday afternoon?!

World has gone mad

Funnily enough I had to drive up to Llandudno for work when the WRC was in town, was a nice surprise to get there and find the town packed with rally cars. Was able to get some pictures of Parc Ferme late on the Thursday night - they were all lined up on the promenade all night with one doddery old bloke for security!

Indeed. With just Freeview here I'd be in a similar boat if it wasn't for my saviour, this chap on youtube :-

There's FA coverage of any of the WRC on terrestrial telly anymore! There'll be no F1 soon either!

That video above is ridiculous, why it was even allowed to remain or it took so long for anyone to think 'let's wave people down warning them about this stupid part of the stage' i have no idea, i also don't like the British's americanised cheering an clapping an incident, not exactly sporting is it.

Baz, I read on another forum that the FIA and stage officials were quite clear cut on instructions to marshals and stage crews. There wasn't much room allowed for those "on the ground" to do anything off their own back without the say-so of officials. Crock of s*it, isn't it.

Theyre the sort of mongtards that only go in the hope of "seeing someone crashing":rolleyes:

It was really strange seeing them belting round the Orme stage as well. I live on the Orme back home and have been for an evening jaunt round there a few times when it's dead. Every flat ledge on the cliff faces had people perched on them.
