Ppc 999 Hallenge

Me and a mate are thinking of doing this in a 205 next year he has a 1.9 gti he got for free and a mi 205 for free so can use either. the mi isn't running currently but would leave us with 999 to mot it and modify it can anybody think of a cheap way to get easy power ?

Don't worry about power, just make it handle and be reliable, if you wanted easy power you've chosen the wrong car tbh.

I guess I did think about using a boxy supra but as the cars are free makes sence to use one.

Has anybody else thought about doing it looks like a good laugh

By the looks of it, doing the fastest 1/4 mile for £999. How do they prove how much you have spent?

You have 999 to buy and modify a car but you can sell parts up to 250 so I don't know if that means you can use it ontop of the 999 oh forgot to say the car is timed on a 1/4 mile and handling course best time wins

They ask for receipts I think but most deals are cash so I don't know exactly I could always sell my pulsar for a pound and buy it back for a pound

Very open ended, If like me I have all the parts to make a 250bhp Mi I would still have £999 left or I could sell it to myself for £150.00 to make it sound better
