Recommended Posts

ritchunt

Ive just removed my turbo engine out my track car and fitted it into my new road toy, anyway i was just going to put the gti lump into my track car and cash it in, but i like f**king on too much so ive had a plan, has any one had any experience on running a gti6 lump on twin 45's etc using the Constella adpter of ebay? Im asuming its the same as the old mi ones in princible, im not looking for big bhp or huge gains but is it woth it?

Mentioning GTi6 dizzy adapters on here is treated the same way as going on a Mini forum and saying BMW make proper Minis.

They're exactly the same as the old Mi ones though yes, just as pointless!

could use stand alone ignition control with the carbs? More work, prob more expensive too, but an idea!

Well, i beg to differ... ;)

The dizzy idea is rubbish yes, but a '6 on carbs with a proper igntion system is good; i run a stock '6 with DHLA 45's and Megajolt standalone management and it never fails to make me smile ;)

That's cheating though as that's the proper way to do it!
