Am I right in thinking there are 2 varients?

 

If so how do I tell them apart?

 

Would a 2002 model be the 167bhp version?

Are they all the 2.0 RS's Mei? Only one of the tech guys at uni has an early P1 VTS, he's the only owner from new afaik and it's got the XU7JP4 underneath.

that should be badged as a VTR

 

its not uncommon to see lower spec engines with VTS spec interior and bodywork in mainland europe though they'll be LHD.

Do you mean the diffrence between phase 1 and 2? phase 1 is prefered for conversion donors due to the wiring/ecu set up.
