Yes if you get the correct ML5 bellhousing.

XU10J2TE, XUD11 and DW10+12 are the same pattern.

would need to be quite an engine to require an ML box over a BE unit.

Thanks, and what about EW engines (ew10j4, ew12j4) ? Disel`s gearbox are very long... I know that in pug 806 with xu10j4r ml5t is set. But is rare... :( XU10j2TE box is rare also...

Don't forget that most vehicles that use them will have much larger wheels overall, so the gearing may not be that high, EW10 uses an ML but sits at a different angle.

Regarding the gearing you can always swap the internals form another variant, though most will not be particularly sporty regardless, maybe the ES9 would be the exception.

I did't think about wheels's size. :) Really, on 195/55 r15 with dw10ated gearbox (pug 407, ml5c):

1 gear,6500prm - 50km/h

2 gear,6500prm - 96km/h

3 gear,6500prm - 153km/h

This gearbox very close to my BE3R. I think that this gearbox is comparable for turbo.

great thanks. I hope, that I will find that gearbox. :) or ml6c (it wold be the best variant)
