Does anyone know whether the fuel lines of the 205 can cope with E85?

I have read that it can be corrosive but a friend has been using it in a pre '89 Swift Gti for years without problems.

Cheers.

The majority of the lines are steel, and the main feed in the engine bay is plastic lined IIRC, unsure about the pair on the fuel pump though.

Needs a remap and much larger injectors afaik.

I was thinking of having a play with a 50-50 mix mainly due to the cost (costs 1€ per lt) and as a learning exercise.

From what I have been reading it generally needs 20-30% more fuel.

I don't think steel will be OK with it though :(
