Front Crank Seal

doing the water pump and belt and tensioner, while its all off was thinking of replacing the crank seal, are these known to leak after the new gear have been put back on?

 

probably being over cautious but knowing my luck once its all back on the blinking blooping seal my decide to leak?

They aren't particularly known to leak imo unless you'cve disturbed an old seal, which shouldn't happen during the cambelt, tensioner & water pump etc being changed.
