Hello And My 205 Gti

Recommended Posts

niagra

Hi all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself and my 205. I've owned mainly classic cars over the years including tuned Minis and a Sunbeam Lotus (which is the only car I regret selling). I had a white J reg. 1.6 in the mid 90s which was a bit of a dog and I've always wanted a Miami 1.9 LE which is what I have now. I'm the third owner, the first had it until a couple of years ago and it has 85k with a fully stamped up history from Peugeot dealers. I've owned the car for a few months now and apart from the odd squeak and about three minor dings it's as good as new. I intend keeping at original as possible apart from the non-original stereo, tyres and stainless exhaust and manifold.

Here are a few photos:

Thanks for the positive comments.

Yeah, I noticed the bits on the mats - that's our 5 and 6 year old boys for you! However, they do cover the original GTI mats which are immaculate.

I don't think I will change the tailgate as that was how it was specified from the dealer - I think it was a dealer fit option?

Dario
