Was just wondering how easy it was to change a car from left-hand drive to right-hand drive?

depends largely on which car and how easily available the parts are, nothing is impossible...

MOT until December. Car has had a complete restoration in 2008. The car has been dynod at 289bhp and have graphs to prove it. Running the car with racing fuel ie (99 or 98 octane with octane booster additive) you will be in the region of 300bhp. The car was feature in a tuned car performance magazine.

The car has had a full restoration and rebuild in 2008. Engine has also had full restoration and rebuild approx 1.5 years ago and since had 6000km put on it. Car starts first time every time and runs fantastic. This is truly an amazing car for both looks and performance and draws attention everywhere it goes.

It is fully registered in uk with uk plates. Car has MOT till december and is sorn off road.

It has an indicated 170000km on the clock but the engine had only done 6000km since full restoration + rebuild.

Only bad thing is a small dent on left hand side front wheel arch, but this is hardly noticable unless looking for it and can be buffed out easily.

I have loads more photos i you want to see them

Here are some links to videos of the car:

Don't take this the wrong way, but from reading your posts you appear to have absolutely no idea what you want.

Sit down and decide exactly what you want - standard or modified, NA or turbo, 8v or 16v etc - what your budget is and whether you've any preference on colour/age/spec etc, and then start looking at potential cars and asking opinions on them. Given that a week or so back insuring/taxing a £300 odd 205 for a few days to drive it home was out of the question, it really doesn't seem likely that you're going to be looking to buy one for £5500 does it?

As for the original question, whilst it's certainly possible to convert LHD to RHD, given that the market is awash with RHD 205's why go to the hassle and expense of converting a LHD one?

I have a claim going through at the moment and not sure how much I am getting, hopefully enough for a weekend toy and one to strip down.

Why change it anyway, the LHD ones are considered to be better balanced with the driver offsetting some of the engine weight on the other side.

Yeah but if you ever want to sell it you screwed with LHD, people say nah it only matters to certain people but i can assure you, they are a nightmare to sell.

Unless its so special that over seas buyers want it you have no chance really getting decent money for them which also brings me to my next point.

Its not worth the money anyway unless rhd.

My corrado was a special edition g60 jet german car that has but 25 siblings globally left and it was still really hard to sell so a modded 205 hmmmm not that money pal
