Ideas Of Price Please

Hope this is in the right section. Well I've come to the end of the line with my 205. Despite having aspirations of building a sound GTi I just can't keep throwing money at it. The rear beam is the last in a long line of repirs. As it's my daily driver I need to move on to something more reliable. What I need is an idea of an asking price. Car has not passed it's MoT due to excessive axle moving on the rear. Having made enquiries on the forum and had useful replies and offers of help (thanks luggy and Miles) there are numerous other things that need looking at. The car is a 1990 phase 1.5 (i think) 1.9 GTi . laquer is peeling, interior is tatty. However new clutch, brake master cylinder and metal water pipe in the last 2 months. 1115000 miles, strong engine, new AFM, discs, Spax suspension, e-tech strut brace, K&N filter, powerflow stainless exhaust and four branch manifold in the last 3 years since I have owned it. Don't have time or inclination to strip for spares. So once again any ideas of a price for spares or repairs Ta

not much at all I'm afraid, if the paints going then it's not cheap to repaint it all, along with the beam and not T&T then I'd say around £300.00 as in parts there's the engine and suspension and not allot else, plus the time to do it

Similar figure.

I sold my previous 1988 (F) 1.6 with 164K on it, needing a new rear beam but with (short) tax & test for £310.
