Beautiful. I'd love a Camper to go away for weekends in with the Mrs and our baby daughter. Unfortunately for me the prices start quite far out of my price range :(

Do you think the old skool VW campers that are being made now will ever drop right down in price for a second hand one, or will they stay fetching proper money because of what they are?

It is great I love getting away in it. This Easter we did over 2000 miles round Scotland and it was amazing! Although it drinks big time and the original 70s bed is basically a rock. Prices aren't as bad as what people think. Always bargains to be had. Don't get me wrong they ain't cheap. Depends how good you are at welding and body work as it will need some.

The new ones are nice enough classic looks and a nice interior however I am a purist and for me they lack something special. The sound of the air cooled engine tapping away. Although the fact you can get over 60mph without feeling guilty is probably nice. I think they will come down in price but not loads - like any camper. Unfortunately I think your right due to what they are and the fact that they are a practical alternative prices will soon creep back up.

This is my (rather thirsty) daily! It is in a different world to the 205, soo comfy and sounds amazing! Theres just something about the way it makes you feel when your driving it, sat low in those big leather seats with a nice chunky steering wheel, I love it!

Winter toy, 2.5T 850 AWD. Dad bought this nearly-new, now on 230k & has a few mods, awesome car! I've just replaced/reconditioned the brakes ready for this winter. I don't seem to have any decent pics saved though!

V70R AWD - 300+bhp 4wd turbo nutter barge. When it works! Just polybushed the front wishbones and replaced a driveshaft. Need to sort a boost leak then needs a remap. I don't use this much tbh, it breaks/costs too much, does 75miles worth of fuel in 4 miles and 100miles worth of pads in one 120-40.

We want to get rid of the Blue & Green V70's & I'm after either a mid-size diesel runabout at the mo, Golf GTTDI or similar or perhaps just another V70, but a D5.
