Oil Pump Upgrade Kit

just wondered has anyone had any experience with one of these , a 6bar oil pressure up grade kit kit contains a 6bar pump spring a 26 tooth oil pump sprocket a 52 linked chain the seller says a normal 1.9 oil pump has a 22 pump sprocket and a48 linked chain the aboved mentioned kit is ment to raise oil pressure though rev range has anyone installed this kit and is it worth doing cost of kit is 60.00

The chain itself is 20 quid from pug.

Sprockets 20quid just need to know what one he's ordered, as I was asking in old thread for one.

6bar spring and relief valve about 5 quid or less from pug.

 

I've done the same on an mi recently, just find out if they're genuine parts or not

It's £35 of parts from Peugeot, sold at a huge markup.

 

The chain is ~£22, the sprocket ~£12, and the spring <£2.

as asked if you done this was it worth the effort did it raise pressure accross rev range ect

Increased pressure massively on idle and pressure was increased throughout rev range as well.

It was more down to precaution really.

We also put a baffled sump on.

whats these kits like to fit does 26 tooth spocket replace the one on the oil pump

The chains Pug supply now are not the Sach originals. They look like cheap chinese crap, and i'd rather use a shoe lace. I'm looking into a supplier for quality replacements, but until then, i'd use a good original Sach.
