Expansion Tank Hose Connection Sizes

Recommended Posts

stuart1298

Hi people had a little problem with my expansion tank, mine has developed a small crack, its the black 1.6 91 bottle, i have a few in stock at work for various other cars, does anyone no the size of the hose in the bottom and the small one that goes to the rad, hoping a 206 one might do the job, mounting isnt to much of a problem, just need to no the 205 hose diameters

easiest to just buy a new one tbh!

though you're probably not a million miles from Baz and he's bound to have a spare somewhere...

You can do an acceptable repair with some epoxy goo if you can get it off and dry in the crack.

The Ph2 tanks do seem more and more to be cracking. The replacement tank from Peugeot is now a translucent white, not black.

Any idea of a part number, or of anything else will fit? I've got about 20 tanks at my work for various cars but my cara at home so can't match em up

The Ph2 tank in my mates car cracked when we were doing a track day at Woodbridge, it managed to aim a tiny jet of coolant right at the horn relay so the first we knew of it was when the horn started sounding every time we went round right hand bends.
