dobboy 231 2 Cars Posted June 22, 2017 heritage modern classic policy. £150 fully comp agreed value all declared. but that was 1500 miles and im over 30, plus it cant be your main car I just got a quote off them after reading this, £178, fully comp, 3k milers/year, agreed value, with mods. Seems a lot cheaper than what I paid last time.

barneys66 122 1 Cars Posted June 22, 2017 I've never read a good word about Flux. Try RH Classics too - always been unbeatable on all my classics.
jackherer 543 Posted June 22, 2017 I've never read a good word about Flux. They're very good at marketing themselves on car forums...
barneys66 122 1 Cars Posted June 22, 2017 They need to be! They do offer some attractive prices sometimes, but the after sales service appears to be atrocious..
Robin205 7 Posted July 6, 2017 I have found Adrian Flux good when it comes to engine conversions.
TAG 25 1 Cars Posted July 7, 2017 Flux quoted me £1600 when I first got my 205, and it was almost standard then. I've been with greenlight the last few years, 370ish this year.
Robin205 7 Posted July 7, 2017 I was told that greenlight was a sister company of Adrian Flux, not sure how true that is........
jackherer 543 Posted July 8, 2017 Are you thinking of HIC? They used to be good but they were taken over by Adrian Flux years ago and they stopped competing with each other, if you got a quote from one the other wouldn't beat it. Greenlight are independent from Adrian Flux as far as I know.
Gaz205 50 Posted July 8, 2017 (edited) I'm with flux who have become cheaper since last year on my 205 but couldn't get close to competitors on my other cars premium. Odd. Standard car though so maybe they prefer an 'easier' risk. Edited July 8, 2017 by Gaz205

jackherer 543 Posted July 9, 2017 That's a relief, I'm currently insured with Greenlight and I don't really want to cancel it... I had been with HIC for years but I moved to Greenlight after Flux bought them.
Robin205 7 Posted July 9, 2017 Annoying thing about greenlight is that they are not willing to price match Flux.
