Awesome ! I'm hesitating should I respray original black or go for a different colour. But this 205 looks stunning !

I always forget how sharp that a factory fresh 205 looks. Stuart, that looks amazing - keep it clean!!

I like that one :)

Iv never been keen on the arch's not standing out as much with a black car though unlike the grey colours. Hard to keep clean and looking good as well, to keep that look then washing it like the pro's will help keep it fresh, minimal swirls etc.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Might put some pics up tomorrow of how it looks at the moment, don't think the comments will be as positive then! Nothing a quick wash won't will sort ;)

Yeah it is a pain to keep clean, especially as I live down a dirt road. I use it daily though so try not to worry about it too much.

The grey does look nice, but in my opinion if you're going to change the colour you either need to do the job properly (ie a full bare shell respray) or not at all - to me, nothing looks worse and says cheap half-a***d job than a resprayed car where you can see the original colour in the engine bay, in the doorshuts, and in the interior.

The black does look very good freshly painted and gleeming though, and I'm sorely tempted to get mine blown over when it's built and on the road seeing as the roof needs paint anyway where it's beginning to suffer from the usual Phase 2 lacquer problem.

Couple of months passed and I've decided it I will keep the car black. If you have any more pics of freshly resprayed black GTI please post some. I need some inspiration ;)

Nice, did you spray the body kit as well or just clean it up? Someone has sprayed mine and it's flaking off!

The black looks like a real nice job. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? Also that magnum grey looks epic!
