Mi16 In 205 Swap

Recommended Posts

I got myself a mi16 engine d6c in pretty good condition ...a good rebuild base...so i've got a question or two :)

In my 205 8v i use a motronic wiring and i was planing to kreep this wiring since i didn't get the m16 wiring with the engine.

the d6c has no knock sensor so it useses as far as i know a two row ECU and my original wiring uses 3 row ... My idea was to use my original 8v ecu with the 16v chip... I can get my hands on all 3 ECU, so which one chip from those ECUs in your opinion should i use?

what do you think about skimming the head just a little? since it already has a 10.x.x CR

What is the best recepie for d6c with the cam gears ( now its original... #2, #2 ) i have #3 sitting in the garage... i read here somewhere about the combinations with #3, #2 but i cant seem to find that topic here...

does anyone have and want to sell this hose...i need it to be from 309 gti16

I think you can still buy the GTI16 inlet hose from Peugeot. I bought one in 2006 and just had to wait a couple of week for them to order it.

Indeed its quite unlikely they make them any more, but they may have stock.

£30.81.

Worth getting in touch with a dealer in France or the UK and seeing if they can find anything from a stock search.
