Superchips Help!

ok long story short i have obtained these superchips from a garage sale, has anyone fitted them before? they are professional chips from a reputable tuning company as far as i have been told?any input will be great thanks!

205 git 1.9 i have been told, basicly i heard the guy had them years ago, he has now emigrated and i had them from his garage sale, which was held by the guy who rents his house he has no idea how to fit them though! havent opened up my ecu yet to see if they just plug in or require soldering?

ok sounds like you have had experience in the old chip seen, have you fitted something similar in the past?

on mine it raised limiter by 400rpm did feel a little bit quicker not alot though dont no what it will be like on 8 valve

 

on my ecu it just pulls out but very carful will the pins

 

looks like yours is the pin type just find chip inside ecu and swap

might be worth buy any ecu and get it unlocked so you can just swap ecu's

 

thats what i got but aint gone back yet :P

one says superchips 2056745,mos 41118, the other says mosley and sons 2056745.162 superchip 26.2.00

same fitment there is a PCB board which they slot into

As you don't have a chip in it unless it's a Motronic ECU your stuffed, the listing on Superchips web site is basically a little PCB board worth around 10p soldered in to the fueling to rich-in it up, Makes no difference in Power as it's been tested back to back a few times

As Miles said, it would only fit a later model GTi equipped with the DKZ engine and Motronic ECU. And even then I'd doubt you'd see any improvement.
