Up To 1400Cc Ss Race Series

I'm preparing a Ford 1400 engine for racing as part of a project, but I'm struggling to find a race series that it could be competitive in. If you guys could reel off a list of UK based series' (ideally circuit racing, but sprints and hillclimbs are ok) I'd really appreciate it, as so far I don't have a set of rules/regs as a guideline so my only limitation is time & money which doesn't make for a good degree project.
