Going to be taking the gti6 engine and associated parts off my car, to use it to re shell my turbo.

The for sale section states an initial price must be stated but i have no idea what its worth or were to start.

Includes

Gti6 Engine with all ancillaries fitted for a 205

Flywheel and clutch

Re-angled manifold

Exhaust centre section

Pug racing wiring loom + ecu

Water hoses

Baker Bm top hose

Baker Bm thermostat housing convertor

Engine Mounts

And anything else needed, that's forgotten on list

Thanks in advance

About £500 seems to be the going rate, you could have easily searched the For Sale section for GTi6 engine adverts (there are several) though. At least you'll know for next time. :P

Depends on the millage and condition of the engine. I would suggest spitting it as you'd get more.

I paid £600 for a very, very (Anthony regrets selling it! ) good engine with some paper work, loom, re-angled manifold, ecu, split speedo drive, battery box, gti clocks and some other bits.

£100 for a re-angled mani? Wow I might start making them then, I'd make a killing!

Although I guess my experience at a top motorsports exhaust fabricators won't be worth that much.

£500 and you fit it::lol: all joking aside how long would it take to fit, couple days at it? presuming you had someone who knew what they were doing?

yup, that's the price for a manifold adjusted properly.

if there's no rust, you should be able to do it in a day easily seeing as its coming out of a 205 so all the conversion stuff is there ready.

Miles

No special mount is needed for the engine to fit into a 205 so I'd check those as I cannot remember what those where now

Those manifolds supplied by Miles are well worth the £100, really pleased with mine!

would say easily do able in a weekend mate, as you would everything needed and allready converted to fit and work on a 205. All bolt in with no mods.
