Hi there, I am hopeing to get a 205 Gti soon to work on in my spare time, I have done nothing like this before and don't have much experiance but am hopeing to train as I work and do it in my spare time (Am off work with injury and bored S**TLESS). I have seen a lot of topics regarding people useing MI-16 & Gti-6 engines but I was wondering if anyone had tried to use an engine from a 206 Gti 180?????

As I am aware you will have a 20ish Hp advantage over the Mi/Gti-6 engines and I have sourced a 45k millage one for about £500.

Was just wondering if this was worth a try????

I don't think that question has EVER been asked before so I doubt anyone on here would know the answers you need chap.

 

But all is not lost, there is a STRONG rumour that something called 'Search' knows everything so it may be worth a try as a last resort
