Coil Pack No Power?

Recommended Posts

mucka

The problem ive got i seem to have no spark, the engine is trying to turn over, but spark off plugs. ive put carbs on, and thought i finished the wiring in my fuse board, as i have no ecu n loom in.

But when i brought the parts for carbs he gave me like a board with like and amplifier relay and small coil back, i put multi meter on coil pack to battery and seem to have no power( not sure if testing properly). All wires on board are connected only main wire goes to dizzy the 3 pin and rest are earths and wires into amp to coil. so how is it powerd???

And ive put multi meter on little screw on the wire to dizzy, and theres a reading on multi meter.

There is 1 wire what isnt connected yet but thats on the brown block in the bay like a light blue????

link of the setup(hope it work), sorry about pic some reason i cant blow up :/

Anthony

Have you got it wired to the ignition switched live (usually from the thick red wire on the brown multiplugs under the drivers dash on mid-88 onwards models)?

The thick blue wire is the starter solenoid, which has probably been removed from the brown plug and wired directly to fix the usual clicking starter issue.
