Anyone Seen This Top Dash Pocket Before?

Recommended Posts

My mate has one of these in his 205, looks pretty neat and cant work out if it's an aftermarket addition?

Always thought the space was wasted a little with the standard blanking plate.

Does anyone actually use it though?

I'm so paranoid that it's going to break that I don't think I've ever actually used it for its original purpose in 8 years of 205 ownership

Nope, never used, useless flimsy thing! Most delicate part of the dash, mine did work for a couple weeks then snapped one of the hinges, it had a spring as well! <_<

mine has it and didn't use it for long since i bought that replacement set.

reason i don't use it anymore is simply because i do not want to stick blutac underneath after a few months.

I guess more would be used if we had cheaper road tolls everywhere!

The bridge into Wales is a rip off, used to be cheap as chips years ago. But its free to escape the place

Used it once for coins then forgot about it for ages. Feels really fragile.

It is now used for a boost gauge pod

haha some great comments here!

Yeah it looked pretty weak, just interested as I've always wanted to create some sort of fold out satnav holder thingy in that panel.

I want to completely over-engineer a hinge and folding mechanism... and make it make transformer noises too...

anyway, i'll keep my eye open for one at the scrappies now B)
