Hi

Great build.

"406 pistons. buff." What are the pistons? Std 406 ones or Omega forged o es. Do they fit the std rods and where are they sold?

Thanks:-)

Hi Martin, cheers mate.

Theyre 406 supertouring pistons from the VLR cars. 19.98mm pin side, high pin height, so no, they req custom rods. Omega pistons.

smaller rod angle.

XU. VLR stuff, I think they put cocaine in their cylinders instead of pistons on most of the engines though. haha.

I shan't be using these pistons though, going down a different route I think. So they are for sale, just in no rush! lol.

I am thinking about breaking this... (it's an option). Everything except Throttles, ECU, Seats and Harnesses.

Would need interest in the shell with cage before anything else. Its a non sunroof good shell with seat mounts and all cage plates welded in to MSA regulations. All ready for building into a sprint / hillclimb / gymk car. So I will not reply to offers of a few hundred quid...

Cheers,

Alex

Shame, as I've quite enjoyed reading about this cars build from start to finish.

Did you end up doing any events or anything in it?
