Go for it mate, come round n get some measurements. You can do me a favor and take my backbox too since your 'mr exhaust'. Just want to take that horrific magnex tip off it and replace it with a straight pipe. bipe.

Think I have a small about of 2.5 in the boot of my car or a box somewhere...

The front loom, ECU power and grounds, and lambda loom are done now, just need terminating :)

All the wires to run back to the switch panel.

displays loom.

probably spend the rest of the week terminating it, then maybe make a start to the engine loom on Sunday dependent on if I get my inlet manifold, spacers and rail tube back.

Cheers,

Al

its because they all got flipped into trees... the resting place for 99% of mantas.

I think rust was a common issue too tbh!!

Yep, so the live axle links snapped and they flipped into trees.

Anyway... gotta love access to a aquablaster :) good as new (probably better!)

Wiring all strapped up now too but didnt take photos, need to terminate ends, and then get to work on the engine loom, but I want the throttle bodies on first for exact injector locations.

Also picked up another air filter from work to replace my stolen one :)

Cheers,

Al

yer, unlike shot blasting it lifts the dirt rather than just pushing it in and staining the metal.

What an exciting update! Borrowed some bosch crimp tools from work this weekend, got the pins done on the ECU.

I do love having the right tools...

Done, need to run it in the right directions, heat shrink it and terminate it now. Maybe only 1 more week of wiring left before its time to get onto the switch box :)

Connector and splice into chassis loom done, routing another smaller loom along side back to the switch box for programmable inputs and output from the engine loom that I don't want running into anything else. CAN routes nicely into chassis loom and connects to the dash and back to the switch box's OBD2 connecter :) <3 CAN!

ECU is on, I need to move a couple of pins around quickly tonight, after updating MBE's software it seems the programmable pins are not quite as programmable as I anticipated, but only a few minutes work.

It will look neater!

Please don't quote whole posts of pictures on this site, there's nothing more annoying!

If you get yourself a Photobucket account, you upload photos to that and then copy the img tag link over into your post.

engine loom done, throttle bodies back on

Need to sort the mount out

turns out the person that stole my throttle bodies also put gravel down the inlet ports, so have to do the head gasket again next week, brings whole new levels to the term 'FML' huh.

nice view though

Oh well, getting there. Loom looks good, bodies fit, not far to go! Talking to a few companies about brakes today, should have something ordered this afternoon, then I'm almost back to where I was before the thefts... after the head gasket that is...
