Starting Problem

I'm having a starting problem, when I turn the key over I hear the starter turn but only for sec then cuts off with key still fully turned, it's engaging with flywheel but only turning the engine by 1/4 if that. Surely when the key fully turn it should keep cranking? it's also brand new starter and battery

Its prob the starter motor feed from the ignition.
