How Many Splines On A 1.9 Gti Driveshaft?

Hi,

 

I'm trying to fit some 29 tooth abs CV joints to my 205 driveshafts as part of the conversion to 306 Bosch ABS.

 

Does anyone know how many splines the driveshaft has where it slides into the CV Joint? My options seem to be 22, 23 or 34 splines. I believe 23, but these are the hardest CV's to get hold of (Typical...) and I want to confirm before taking the car apart so that I can order them in.

 

Can anyone help with that please?

browsing through that site, you want a CV from a 405, probably found on others.
