Can't believe it - just left the wheel outside my house for a couple of days after fiddling around with my exhaust (turns out the backbox is rattling - not crucial but annoying) and some f***er has swiped it!!!! What on earth someone is going to do with a single 1.9 wheel with a crappy most worn out tyre on it I don't know....

However, I've fitted my 24mm ARB which has improved the handling significantly, which is great news.

Anyone got a spare wheel + tyre they're willing to sell me?!

I am able to use the front of my house as a type of unofficial waste collection service.

Anything not bolted down and left outside in the morning seems to magically disappear by the evening.

Very useful as saves trips to the dump. Most recent activity has seen the removal of a broken toaster, 2 x worn out 1.9 disks, a knackered rad and two sub standard light fittings.

The service is not without it's faults however, my g/f spent Sunday in the garden attending to various plants/flowers etc so I was therefore looking forward to the evening on my own following her removal by perusing pistonheads, this forum and some 'gentleman's' sites only to be devastated by her returning indoors unscathed in the late afternoon.

It could just be kids or a drunkerd.

Have you done a quick shifty of your area to see if its lying about at the bottom of a grassy mound or in a back alley (oooh errr!)

Kind of on a related note, but what was the outcome of the 205 that got taken from your rented garage and then advertised on eBay by some breaker?

I had scrap cav sri 130 engine outside for a week last year what i was waiting to scrap (myself)

Must have had 4 door knocks asking for it,still cat complain as at least they knocked instead of just taking it.

Just annoys me as you then know people are looking at what you have all the time.

Your wheel will have been weighed in,scrap is at quite a good rate again lately so keep an eye on your stuff folks!

Well I live in Hove which isn't that dodgy but if you can get £10/alloy i guess it's worth it!

Still no one with a spare 1.9 wheel on the south coast  ?

Yeah cheers for reminding me of that GLP, my therapist will be delighted, just when I was starting to get over it too.

Bottom line was I lost the car and the not insignificant contents of the garage.

scraps mega bad around here, they go driving around early hours taking anything they can,my friends back garden is like a scrap yard for 106 rallye's and saxo's and he constantly gets woken up by people sneaking into the garden for his rear beams etc to weigh in...he just leave the junk at the front now so they only take what he no longer needs

So were there no repurcussions for the company that tried to flog it on eBay? Effectively selling/handling stolen goods.

Come on, splill it! We (I) need to know! :P Your therapist would tell you that sharing helps ease the pain. Just let it all out. We're good listeners :D
