Rear Beam Seal Loose

Finally trying to get my @rse into gear and get this beam rebuilt that I started over a year ago....

 

This seal mounting ring thingamyjig is loose enough to pull of with my fingers on one side, whereas it was a nice snug fit on the other end of the beam and I had to tap that one on. I can't help thinking this will now just move with the movement of the radius arm and not really provide a good seal.

Suggestions for fixing it in place or do I not worry about it??

Good thinking that man, I just hope mine hasn't gone off in the tube since I last used it!
