Driving A 'tapper'

Hey just wondered if its ok to drive a gti6 engine that taps its definately top end ive tried the plugs there all tight som im guessing bent valve or two. it drives fine doesnt miss or anything will it be ok to continue driving? im gonna pick up a new engine up asap just not sure when i'll have chance to fit it.

mine did afew hundred then gave up, ive read that some people can last afew years
