Could you seriously imagine travelling any distance in that?

Think I'd rather dangle my plums in to a paper shredder.

I could do all that in my 205 and not feel like i was driving the most homosexual looking vehicle on the road. (folds seats, sleeping bag, gas stove, bit of string for washing)

I actually like the concept. But going to bed inside that would just encourage local scallywags to push it over while you slept.

If you look at the picture of the guy sleeping, notice the shelf is right above his head. You'd wake up every day with a broken nose.

It's the design/concept I like. Unlike modern vehicles with "efficient" engines that weigh at least 2-3 tons.

Ditto, I noticed what you say about the shelf and was wondering th same!

I have slept for a night at the back of a Xantia with a sleeping bag and in the morning I woke up like an 8, I wouldn't do it again.

If you wanted to do budget, frugal camping, you'd probably be better off converting one of those old Jap mini vans. Marginally more space inside I'd imagine.

That is horrible  Someone has spent alot of time trying to resolve a problem that just doesn't exsist!

I'v slept in the back of a 205, Clio and a Golf, if you get enough blankets and pillows its amazingly comfy! (I'm talking half a dozen blankets and 4/5 pillows )

Never had a nice sleep in a car ever, even if I was pissed where usually I'd be able to sleep anywhere.
