Under Pan

Recommended Posts

If i put a metal under pan under the hole of my 205 do you think i would have to stop it were the exhust is or go straight under it or would it trap to much heat? Im only asking because im thinking or making a race car and it would create less drag under the car i would take it from front bumper to rear bumper.

If you're making an undertray then it would also be a good idea to extend it into a splitter.

For me now its all about Power to weight and unfortunately im just not happy with the weight the full ally undertray and diffuser is adding to the car so im am re-designing the whole thing to include a more minimal centre undertray to just smooth off the section raises slightly under the seats and also minimise the massive diffuser i have at the back.

Main upgrade will be to re-produce out of Carbon Fibre to reduce the weight.

I beleive it will give you a good advantage as, so ive read or been told, 30% of drag comes from the underside of the car you just need to weigh up Gain against Weight Disadvantage.

PM me if you have any questions, only happy to help
