Steering Rack Overhaul

Hi all, have been restoring my 1988 1.6 GTI for the last 3 months and have now stripped the complete front end!! I've just taken out the steering rack and there is quite alot of play within the rack itself, I think it's the bush inside the rack. I was wondering if anyone has ever changed this and also where you can get it from? My local Peugeot dealer does not sell it seperatley :-( Any info on this would be great..... CHEERS!
