Memories From The Nurburgring

Recommended Posts

Ben Allen

I was just looking through a bunch of old car photos the other day and came across some from Nurburgring trips from years gone by. Anyway it reminded me of all the good times with various members from here past and present. Sooooo I decided to do another 205-related article on the 'Ring. Thought some people on here may remember this too!

Was that the trip with the infamous 'Maximium Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooost' phrase?

Nice little article as ever. :)

But, just a little constructive criticism, I appreciate you're not, but that could seem like yet another stereotypical story of a seemingly clueless brit heading to the 'ring & crashing after getting carried away. Maybe you had to be there?! A good read none the less.

There's also some mistakes in there, a couple from memory, it's downhill into Bergwerk rather than up & Dino was not the founder of NurburgringExperienceUK.

Agree with Bergwerk, although did he mean Ex Muhle which is the steep uphill right hander before the run down to Bergwerk?

Isn't it Breidscheid over Adenau bridge? Then ex-Muhle and onto Bergwerk (where an 8 car pile up has recently occurred)

Yes Dino bought the company from its previous owner (who I think retired?)
