A friend of a friend used to own an Integrale, and he sold it and bought a Lotus Sunbeam because it was 10x more reliable.

It's not... the MG MGB is though .

My other car is a 1969 MG BGT... yes it is rather different from my 1.9 gti but loved all the same.... why shouldn't it be on the list?? Have you driven one?

 

This isn't a list of the greatest 'drivers' cars or the 'most exciting'... just the greatest in the eyes of a wide range of car fans.... hence the 2 Land Rovers and a model T Ford in the top 20... I wouldn't want any of those but they have their fans.

 

The 205 tends to come rather higher up in greatest driver's cars lists on PH.

 

I do agree though that it is a strange mix of vehicles!

Buy a s*itter and thats all it will be.

 

Of the 2 Grales I owned they gave no trouble, As with everything if you dont look after it, it will let you down.

 

Yes running costs are very high, hence many are neglected and thus giving the bad reputation....!
