i've never had any issues at all with bog standard NGK's in my MI16 gti6 and 8 valve engines :)

imo there's no point at all spending lots on plugs for most states of tune these days.

BKR6EK is what you need (gti6 uses the same ones, they are twin electrode)

1.9 mi16 uses different plugs, BCP7ET for the non cat D6C, and BCPR6ET for the DFW cat engine.

I wouldnt even bother with bosch super4's tbh, my favoured nkg's for the 16v pug engines are under a tenner, the 8v plugs are nearer a fiver :D

Any reason behind that? I've used them for a while and never had a problem.

I know they're a bit overkill

Bosch are known to be iffy, Had a brand new set not work before on a Mi conversion which got me checking my wiring first before those, and talking to a few people in the trade I get the same response which does surprise me as Bosch is normally very good

I'll give ngk's a go then, try a back to back test with them and see the results

Yup, only ever issues i've ever had with plus have been Bosch's on two seperate occasions!

Every now and then BCPR7ET's appear on ebay very cheaply, i last bought about 16 for £20. :D

I always used the genuine citroen ones in my 1.9mi16, which are triple electrode Eyquem fc 62 ls3. Never any problems, quite cheap too.....try finding a dealer with them stocked though!

I've been having a slight starting problem now and again, going to change plugs from the Bosch ones and see if it cures it.
