Sumps?

Ok i know its been done to death but i had bit oil surge probs today so need baffels do the gti6 sump fit a alloy sump mi16? or whats the best i need one ASAP thanks dave.

A 6 sump will fit on yes, it has a trap door baffle, though i think general was of doing things is a proper PTS mi16 baffle, a real giggle to fit, but the way to go, apart from dry sumping.

 

Try a search including gti6 oil pump as i think some use these.

Ok i now have a 6 sump all clean and painted so whats best to seal it the correct gasket or just rtv?

Ok i have found a peugeot one on e bay for sale or am i getting this wrong?

yup, gasket was only used on steel sumps, but after a certain date they ditched them and used sealant anyway.
