sorry have you got 2k to blow on the saxo or the 205?

if its the 205 your need to ask yourself where you want to go with it? track days? fast road? OE spec? normal road use?

Easy for me to say as I've all three "flavours" of 205, stripped track car, fast turbo road car, standard GTI.

But if I were you I would spend your 2k on a house deposit or whatever, and keep your 205 in standard form. In the next few years I think it will carry on rising in value.

Or buy a 205 Gti6 already done for under your £2k, enjoy it for a year or two, then sell it for what you paid for it and still have £2k in the future.

Putting £2k into a 205 as a 205 Gti6 you will be lucky to see £500 of it in the future.

Whereas a standard 205 Gti will be likely to rise in value a little.

yep just as well i think leave her in standard form 100% as peugeot intended and use the saxo as daily driver, its had ( from when i owned it before - vts interior, might lower it a fraction and thats it job done.

Do as you like, The car can always be put back to std at anypoint if no chassis mods are carried out,

2K will either get you a 6 engine and suspension/Brake mods or rebuild your current 8v engine and mint things up.

bling bling, now with vts interior, black grill, mk1 rear lights and tinted side repeaters.

Possible plans;

Lower 30 - 40mm

Some black 13" wheels
