Moving Away From The Peugeot

Recommended Posts

Not been around for a while been looking at getting a new car, 8 years of driving and all ive ever owned was 205 gtis, so i finally fancied a change and heres my new car. So the 205 will be up for sale shortly just to pay for the fuel consumption of the new one.

Just as many people say they dont, too just as many say they do they just need looking after with extreme care.

I have done my research and they have been known to be good for 100k before rebuilds so fingers crossed.

Wheels = vom! Bet it's rather rapid though. Wonder how long it will be before you start wanting a 205 again!? Haha

Stunning car, strange wheels though! I always think about making the leap to jap after i leave the wonders of PSA, just can't quite do it yet.

Niiiiiice! I love RX7s and RX8s. I've a soft spot for rotary engines, no real reason why, I just really like the concept. Ditch those wheels though, they're rank!

One thing that bugs me about their owners though is how much they complain about fuel consumption. Are they really any worse than any other 260bhp RWD turbo coupe? People seem to think that because they're "only a 1.3" they should give good MPG...

They do look awsome and its a nice car but they are very fragile so hope this one runs well for ya :)

Wow, a stunning example. I think the wheels suit it, in a strange way :).

Im a massive fan! always wanted an RX7. But like mentioned they need extreme care and proper warming up.

I looks great! (and I like the wheels, weirdly)

Rebuilds are only 2k, because the engine has three moving parts or something ridiculous like that.

Plus when you get it done, you can have the higher quality fancy coating rotor tip seals etc to help bring it up to spec with the modern engines.

my friend had one for a year or so, lovely cars, we took it to le mans and back, great a road super tourer, munched up the n roads. Om Nom Nom.

best of luck.
